On Saturday, November 2nd 2019, 50 people gathered around the front doors of E.H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. in Slinger, WI to watch the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony of their new 15,000 square foot office building and 30,000 square foot warehouse building.

Following after, employees, friends, family and customers walked throughout the E.H. Wolf business grounds enjoying things like the Gas Station Museum, horse drawn carriage rides, Schleisingerville to Slinger 150th Exhibition, the Storck Brewery presentation, and new office building and warehouse tours.

The Soo Line 1003 Steam Engine train stationed on the tracks next to the warehouse buildings attracted hundreds of curious and intrigued guests. It was special to the Wolf family to have this train on display, since much of the company’s growth occurred inside the renovated Slinger train depot, where the Soo Line train passed by so many times in previous years.

In conjunction with celebrating the Grand Opening of the new office and warehouse, Slinger's 150th anniversary was also celebrated. The Edward H. Wolf Depot Building, which used to be the offices of E.H. Wolf, was open for the Schleisingerville to Slinger 150th Exhibition, where residents of Slinger placed their historical items on display for the community to see and learn about the village’s history. This event brought in hundreds of people throughout the entire day.

The families and employees of Edward H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. would like to extend a warm thank you to family, business partners, customers, all guests who traveled from near and far and the Slinger community for coming out to celebrate our Grand Opening and showing up in strength and support not only today, but in the past 78 years as well. We stand behind the fact that our business is successful because of you, and we appreciate your friendship and business more than words can say.

We’re blown away by the outcome and positivity of the crowd. Days like today remind us all of Roy and Ed’s humble beginnings and encourage us to become better at our jobs to help our customers better.
