Raising the Trophy: EH Wolf's Dave Kletti Wins Big in 2024 Wisconsin Truck Tech Contest

This past weekend, the 4th Annual Wisconsin Truck Technician Competition, held by the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association, showcased the pinnacle of talent and expertise in the trucking industry. Truck technicians from across the state gathered at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI, on May 18, 2024, to compete for the coveted title of the best in the business. Among the 15 highly skilled participants, our very own Head Mechanic, Dave Kletti, emerged as the champion, securing the 1st prize with an impressive score of 1,174 points.

A Champion with a Heart

Dave's triumph didn't stop at winning the competition. In a remarkable display of generosity, Dave announced that he would donate his $1,500 prize money to Special Olympics Wisconsin (Annual Truck Convoy). Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, fostering physical fitness, courage, and joy.

This year marks the 20th Annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Wisconsin, scheduled for Saturday, September 14th. This event celebrates the trucking industry, allied partners, and law enforcement working together to raise funds for Special Olympics Wisconsin. The convoy brings together participants committed to supporting and fundraising for the more than 7,000 Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes.
